About Us
We are Naoko and Mario, a Japanese-Sicilian couple united by a passion for cooking and hospitality.
Our Story
Since 2007 in Ortigia

We opened the restaurant together in 2007, in the heart of Ortigia, inside a charming 18th-century dammuso overlooking the Porto Grande of Syracuse.
Since then, our cuisine has been born from the meeting of Sicilian and Japanese traditions: we offer typical local dishes alongside preparations inspired by Japanese culinary culture, made exclusively with local ingredients.

Naoko takes care of the kitchen and the selection of ingredients, preparing each dish with precision and sensitivity.
Mario manages the dining room service, welcoming guests with care and availability, to offer a relaxed and authentic experience.

Our Dining Room
An 18th century dammuso

The restaurant is housed in a charming 18th-century dammuso in the heart of Ortigia. The ancient stone vaults, the wrought iron chandelier, and the intimate atmosphere create a unique setting where tradition and hospitality blend to make every meal a special experience.
